I am intrigued, but still on the fence about it (forty-five bucks would buy a lot of books). I'm not technically a book blogger, but there do seem to be some really interesting discussions lined up including:
Is YA White Washed? Are the characters in Young Adult novels realistic? Are the themes bland or do they push the limit on what is acceptable?
And, let's face it, I'm a giveaway whore. Any chance to win free books is hard for me to pass up.

I have been to no conferences- so really I couldn't judge. I have been to festivals where I sat in a room at my college with a published Wyoming author and hashed out stories, they had panels and discussions too. but that's as far as it has gone and it is really small.
I've never been to a book conference! This one sounds like it's gonna be lively with lots of hot publishing topics for debate!! If you do go, I hope you enjoy it!!!
Take care

You should know I don't pay attention to any of these giveaways, blogfests, etc. I'm too busy doing important stuff like getting my ass kicked at Grand Slam Tennis on the Wii.
My friend is one of the ones putting together the conference. It should be really good, but I haven't even paid yet. *blushes* I've been in on some of the planning, so I can say it'll be good, although I haven't been to an online conference before. I guess I'm on the fence, too, but I'm leaning more towards going than not.
I haven't attended an online conference, but I have to admit I am intrigued by this one. I will have to check it out.
This looks intriguing. I haven't done a conference-online or in person. I guess if it doesn't end up being good, you will get books out of it. Seems a worthwhile risk.
I've only done writeoncon. I'm attending my first real live writing conference next weekend, though! Right now I'm visiting Barnes and Noble and reading when i can, but mostly my focus is writing. So I'll be saving my money for those kinds of conferences! Best of luck with your decision! christy
Summer, that sounds cozy and wonderful.
Kitty, the topics do sound fun, don't they?
RM, I suck at Wii tennis. Remind me never to challenge you for ultimate control of the universe.
Cherie, thanks for letting me in on some "inside" info.
Shari, WriteOnCon.com is a great online conference I attended last year and will be again this year. Plus it's free! You should definitely check it out.
Kari, you're probably right. New books make me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Christy, that sounds like a blast. I hope you're planning on giving us all the details on your blog.
I would love to attend a conference some day.
I like the sound of that. I'd love to attend too someday look forward to hearing how you get on :O)
