Thought I would share some things that made me feel warm and fuzzy over the past weekend.
What a terrific organization. I'm saving my money to buy one of these little beauties and plan to put it at the entrance to our subdivision.
The eighties!
No, not the decade although it will always hold a special place in my heart.
We're talking high temps for the next ten days! Although I'm sure summer will rear it's ugly head once more, I pledge to enjoy the outdoors for a while without fear of sticking to the pavement.
And last but not least,
Bookshelves
And last but not least,
Bookshelves
I have rearranged my bedroom and now have room for a much needed bookshelf. Imagine the possibilities...
So what things have made you smile this week?

What great pics Lisa... I can see why they make you smile.
Loved the bookshelves. Super creative.
Thinking of my vacation to Canada in a few weeks is putting a smile on my face. I'll get to meet a fellow blogger along the way: Hart Johnson. And I hope to meet Deniz Brevan in Montreal.
I hope to see you in November on may way back to Florida, Lisa....
Those are some freaky bookshelves. With the mailbox thingy don't you have to worry about the books getting wet or eaten by animals or something?
We had a bookfair this weekend. Miles and miles of books! Spent about 3 hours there and managed to find several things for the Christmas thing and one thing I could afford right away. Good times! :)
Awwww beautiful Oreo! He's adorable!! I hope he finds a good home asap!
Yay for lovely warm sunny days!! And yay for these amazing and very creative bookshelves!!!!
Libraries in whatever form - ROCK! Thank you for making me smile too! Take care

@Michael I've never been to Canada, have you? I would love to meet the Tart, though. She always makes me smile.
@RM I think they're pretty weatherproof with a magnetized neoprene door on the front to keep out critters, but I assume they require some occasional TLC.
@Danette Book fairs and early Christmas shopping? I'm envious.
@Kitty It would be wonderful if all the dogs at the shelter could find homes before the end of the year. Sadly, there are always others to take their places.
Fantastic pictures! I love those bookshelves. Today my son asked to color. I didn't have to pull out the crayons first. That made me smile. Also, the hummingbirds are finally back fighting over the feeder in my backyard. I love watching them.
OMG Little Free Library is a perfect idea :)
Aw, doggy! So cute. And I love the bookshelves photos--especially the circular one. How inventive! :o)
@Christine Love hummingbirds, although I haven't had much success luring them here.
@Javid I know, right? Why didn't someone think of that sooner?
@Carol I wish I had the decorating guts to pick the circular one!
Oh, Oreo, soooooooooo cute!
This week, totally randomly, I smiled at the #ThingsIWishTheCensusAsked hashtag on Twitter. Australia had a census on Tuesday night, and the stream of things we wish it asked was hilarious!
@Amie Random smiles are the best! I'll have to check out the hashtag stream.
The book shelves made me smile, thinking I'd never be able to find anything in them. :D
The little doggie looks so intense. Wonder what he's thinking about.
What a great idea for a post! I love all of these, thanks for the smiles!
Your post made me smile. I love the pics, the free little library, and definitely those funky bookshelves!
Happy weekend!
I'm a huge supporter of our animal shelter, and we get some super cutie here too. Oreo is gorgeous! it makes me smile that you posted him and the link!
Also, my hubby who is juggling chainsaws in the garage at this very moment (he seriously is. Strange, strange man) - makes me smile.
